Auto-cut

Rotates through your cameras and cuts on sentence starts, so shots change where someone has just started speaking. You set the shortest and longest shot; the length of each shot varies in between so the rhythm is not mechanical. A camera with no footage at that moment is never shown. Sections you already removed stay removed. It is a quick base to refine, or to hand to Claude to improve.

Remove silences

Finds stretches of silence in the sound of the edit and ripple-deletes them. You choose the shortest pause to cut (0.4 to 2.5 seconds). 0.24 seconds of air is left before speech resumes and 0.14 after a phrase ends so word onsets and tails are never clipped. If the recording has no clear contrast between speech and quiet, nothing is cut.

Both are one undo step.
